I felt that there should be no other FF windows open. When FF wanted to reload the open pages at the time of the hang, they were not allowed to open. Since FF hung the last time, the system was rebooted. Restarted FF to file a bug report on last hang. System was booted 34 minutes befor this hang. Since this is a VM, there is no need for such draconian security measures ( I can always revert to an earlier snapshot if things get messed up. I tried to run it as administrator and I get the Windows generated pop-up box saying. Upon double-clicking on the Firefox icon, the mouse cursor changes to an hourglass for less than half a second, reverts to its normal shape and nothing happens. Of course, it works within the guest and also within the host but won't copy between the host and the guest. I am using NAT as the networking option and I have enabled the network adapter. I suspect that there are no networking problems because IE does work. ( As is the case with many people, I hate IE.)
